Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is located at the tip of the Yasawa Islands – whose name means heaven – famous for their white sand beaches. The resort is the only commercial development on the island, shares this pristine environment with just six small villages, and access to 11 private beaches.

18 luxury bungalows are nestled among the palm trees, just moments from the sandy beach. With their expansive decks, thatched cabana, hammock and outdoor shower, they are the perfect place to soak up your idyllic surroundings. There is a two-bedroom villa, perfect for groups of friend or families, as well as a honeymoon villa set apart from the rest of the resort at the end of a deserted beach and with its own horizon pool overlooking the ocean.

Local fishermen deliver fish, lobster and crab to the resort which is cooking with fresh fruit and vegetables to create beautiful tropical dishes which can be enjoyed at the al fresco restaurant, in the privacy of your villa or on the beach. All meals are included with your stay.

The resort is surrounded by the sparkling waters of the South Pacific Ocean and swimming, snorkelling and diving allows you to explore this beautiful underwater world. There is also the option to visit the nearby Blue Lagoon Caves, take a cooking class, visit the local villages and take part in a traditional Fijian kava ceremony.

Savasi Island

Savasi Island is a boutique hotel on the island of Vanua Levu, reached by an hour-long scenic flight from Nadi.

With just seven villas, each separated by thick, tropical vegetation, this is the perfect place to come for an exclusive, private getaway. The villas sit on volcanic crops, a reminder that most of Fiji’s island were formed through volcanic activity millions of years ago. With ocean views, spacious interiors and private plunge pools, these one, two or three bedroom villas are the perfect island hideaways.

Enjoy locally harvested fruit, vegetables and seafood at the Reef Dining Room and Bar or choose to dine in a secluded cavern by the sea or under the stars on the beach. Vomo

Vomo is located in the Mamunuca Islands group with Vomo Lailai sitting a short distance to the west. Both of these private islands make up the luxurious Vomo resort. Although remote and secluded, reaching the resort is easy, being just 15 minutes by helicopter from Nadi International Airport, or a 75-minute boat ride from Denarau Marina.

The resort consists of 28 villas and four holiday residences. Villas are spacious and elegant while the residences are perfect for larger groups and families. Beachfront villas are just moments from the powder soft sand of Vomo’s beautiful beach and feature private decks with sun loungers. Hillside villas are set a little further back and enjoy either ocean or garden views.

Enjoy freshly caught and locally grown produce at the Reef Restaurant, where a la carte dining is available for lunch and dinner. The Vudu Bar is adjacent to the restaurant while the adults-only Rocks Bar on the western tip of Vomo island is the perfect spot for a sundowner.

The snorkelling around Vomo and Vomo Lailai is exceptional and there are daily escorted snorkel safaris with qualified instructors. There are also paddleboards and kayaks for guests to take out. For guests with children, the Kids Village is a great amenity, with a playroom, kitchen, media room, outdoor climbing frame and craft table.

A range of relaxing spa treatments are on offer, too.

The Yasawa Islands are located 40 miles from Nadi, on the western side of Viti Levu. On the secluded island on Yanggeta you’ll find the idyllic Navutu Stars Boutique Resort, an intimate resort which accommodates just 20 guests.

Bures (traditional Fijian houses) are scattered along the beachfront and tucked away among the tropical gardens. With traditional high ceilings and whitewashed walls, these spacious bures are perfect for a relaxing island getaway.

Dining at the resort is a real treat, with freshly caught lobster, crab and tuna and locally grown organic vegetables on the menu. You can choose to dine on the main verandah, on the decking of your bure, or on the beach. Indulge in a spa treatment that takes advantage of the abundance of local, natural products such as aloe vera and coconut, or enjoy some yoga with the resident yoga teacher.
