    Information we may collect from you

    We will collect information from you through our online enquiry form, over the phone when you call, and when you send emails and other forms of messaging. If you are travelling with any other people, you must ensure that they understand how their information will be used and that they have given their permission for you to share it with us.

    Through discussion of your travel plans with Jacada Travel, we may collect the following personally identifiable information in order to communicate with you;

    It may also be necessary for us to collect some further personally identifiable information in order to reserve flights, hotel rooms, tours etc.

    Our policy is to avoid asking for any sensitive personal information from you, examples of which include racial or ethnic background, political standing, religious beliefs, mental health or sexual preference, unless we deem it necessary for the type of trip you are embarking on. We may need to ask for information pertaining to your physical health if your trip will be physically demanding or if you require special access due to a disability.

    What we do with your information

    The primary purpose for collecting your data is to fulfill our obligations to you as your travel company. This includes designing your itinerary and making reservations for accommodation, flights, tours and other travel services on your behalf.

    We maintain records of your trip and preferences in order to deliver a high standard of service, to resolve any issues that may arise and to comply with regulatory requirements. Your data is held on our secure servers for a period of five years from the date of travel.

    With your permission we may send you travel information and news about our company. We will only do so where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the foot of any marketing email or by emailing us at privacy@jacadatravel.com.

    Sharing your data

    3rd party disclosure of your information

    To deliver your trip and fulfil our business obligations as a tour operator, we may be required to share some of your information with our trusted contractors, service providers and suppliers.

    Jacada Travel does not rent, sell or share your personal information to third party organisations for marketing purposes. Your information will never be given to advertisers.

    We may be required to disclose personal information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where compelled to do so by law. We will always seek to inform you of such a requirement unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

    We use paid advertising on social media platforms, including Meta. As part of this activity we may create custom audiences that allow us to show relevant advertising to existing clients and those with similar interests. This data is encrypted and is used solely for audience matching; it is not used by Meta for any other purpose on our behalf. We use Meta pixel and Meta conversion API on our site to match your visit and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This operates via cookies and subject to your cookie preferences.     Use of cookies

    A cookie is a small text file which is added to your computer’s hard drive whenever you visit or navigate a website. Cookies can serve many functions across the web; most commonly cookies are used to analyse web traffic and web applications. We use Google Analytics tracking cookies to identify which pages are most popular on our website and which content is most engaging to our travellers. These cookies have a very short retention rate and will automatically be removed from your hard drive after this period. The cookies we use help us provide you with a better website experience and a more enriching experience with Jacada Travel.     Opting Out
    If you have previously consented to receive SMS from Jacada Travel, you may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying with “STOP” to any SMS message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will cease sending SMS messages to your number.     Your phone number will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share SMS opt-in consent with any third parties for solicitation purposes.

    App Privacy Policy

    Our app is called Vamoos and have their own privacy policy for users. Vamoos (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application (the “Application”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.

    We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy.     Financial information will never be requested and you not share financial information using the messaging or posting parts of the application

    Geo-Location Information
    We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Application, to provide location-based services including safety and security information. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

    Mobile Device Data
    Device information such as your mobile device ID number, model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system, phone number, country, location, and any other data you choose to provide will be stored and used for analysis.

    Push Notifications
    We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.

    Information from third parties, such as personal information or network friends, if you connect your account to the third party and grant the Application permission to access this information.

    CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
