Casa Amazonas

Set deep within the southern Peruvian Amazon, Casa Amazonas is an oasis of tranquillity surrounded by some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. This boutique hotel has just ten guest rooms with terraces, hammocks and windows that open right onto the rainforest. There’s an organic garden that supplies ingredients for delicious and healthy cuisine inspired by local culinary heritage, as well as a yoga shala and spa. You can join authentic cultural experiences with Indigenous community members, from guided nature walks to traditional craft workshops and healing ceremonies.

Casa Amazonas is located on 94 hectares of protected land in the Tambopata National Reserve, easily reachable from Cusco or Lima. During your stay you can also participate in reforestation projects and learn about the hotel’s innovative Children Bamboo Rainforest initiative, which promotes the use of bamboo as a tool for sustainable forest management and economic development.
