Fascinating history, incredible food and rich Maya culture

With a captivating patchwork of regions that vary in history, cuisine and natural sights, Mexico holds unrivalled charm. Immerse yourself in the myriad of unmissable Mayan sites around Mérida, explore the cobbled streets of San Miguel de Allende or admire traditional art in the delightful galleries of Todos Santos.

Mexico is also the birthplace of a range of delicious cuisines. Start by savouring a pambazos sandwich (a delicious mix of fried bread, potatoes and chorizo) from the UNESCO recognised street-food scene of Mexico City. Or head to Mexico’s golden coastlines for seafood.

Mexico’s capital is an amalgamation of ancient, mestizo (mixed) and European influences. On your trip to Mexico, you could discover Aztec foundations at the magnificent Templo Mayor or explore the city’s UNESCO-protected Historic Quarter and Zocalo Square. Drifting through the water of the Xochimilco Ecological Park on a boat ride makes for a peaceful afternoon in this ‘megalopolis’.

For even more adventure on the water on your vacation to Mexico, enjoy snorkelling and surfing in Puerto Vallarta or spot California grey whales in the lagoons of Los Cabos.

Our team of travel designers are passionate about this enchanting country and will create a tailor-made trip to Mexico just for you, helping you choose from the best accommodation and arranging private tours with expert guides.

The cooler months (December to February) are still fine for travelling, however it’s also the wet season and rains are common.
