When to visit Mallorca
The best time to visit Mallorca varies depending on what you’d like to do during your trip. The summer months of June to August bring the best weather for enjoying the island’s beautiful beaches, with average daily highs of 30°C (86°F), but also have higher visitor numbers. The shoulder months of April to June and September to October are cooler but still pleasant, ideal for exploring the city of Palma or enjoying outdoor activities, including the island’s excellent cycling trails.
You should bear in mind that many hotels and restaurants close during the winter months of November to March.

If you’d like to explore the island through hiking or cycling, then the shoulder months of April, May, September and October offer pleasant weather and comfortable temperatures for activities.
How long you should spend in Mallorca depends on your specific interests and schedule. The capital city of Palma can be explored over the course of a few days, while the island’s many beautiful beaches and rugged interior mountains will require more time. For an in-depth immersion into Mallorca’s varied landscapes of city, mountain and coast, you should allow at least a week.
