      Itinerary in detail

Every Jacada trip is tailored to your personal preferences and interests. Below you’ll find a sample itinerary to inspire your own custom-designed journey.

      Days 1–2

      Arrival in Arusha

Your journey begins with a night in Arusha before you fly off to Singita Grumeti. Arguably the safari capital of East Africa, Arusha is a bustling city in northern Tanzania and the main hub for those embarking on a safari in this game-rich country. It is located right on the cusp of some of Africa’s most famous national parks and in the shadows of two fantastic peaks.

While you’re here, you can visit the Museum of Natural History, which offers insight into the country’s history, geography, flora and fauna. The Cultural Centre is also paired well with the Maasai Market where you can get some wonderful souvenirs. Tanzanite, a unique stone only found in the Arusha surrounds, is displayed in full force at the Tanzanite Museum and adds some archaeological beauty to the natural qualities Tanzania has to offer.

      Days 2–6

On safari in Singita Grumeti Reserve

Bordering the west of the Serengeti National Park, Singita Grumeti Reserve is a private concession with all the big game highlights of the park in a more intimate and exclusive wilderness. This means your daily game drives here are almost guaranteed to be private and without another vehicle in sight. Balloon rides over the bush are a particularly memorable way to explore the landscapes and their untamed natural beauty: rolling hills, rivers, forests and open plains.

This vast, protected area encompasses the iconic game viewing of the Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem – home of the Great Migration – sustainably protecting it through low-impact tourism and community partnerships. You’ll spend a total of six nights on safari here, with three of them in a luxury lodge before a further three nights under canvas at a romantic camp, ‘roughing it’ in the utmost style. Explore the plains on foot or game drives accompanied by expert guides, its 350,000 acres shared with just handful of other guests.

      Days 7–10

      An island escape to Mahe

On Mahe, the largest island in the Seychelles, you’ll get to experience the best of island living as you while away your days on the water and beach as your trip draws to an idyllic close. Depending on which resort you choose, there are a variety of watersports on offer to fill your days – before romantic cruises between the islands as the sun starts to dip below the horizon. And of course, there are few better ways to unwind than by simply sinking your toes into the sand and soaking up the rays.

The Best Safari in Kenya we could of Imagined‌”

We had the most amazing experience working with Jamey and Betty at Jacada Travel. I cannot recommend Jamey enough- he listened to everything we wanted to see and do and put together such an incredible itinerary for us.
