Zadar, Croatia
Villa Nai 3.3

Surrounded by a 500-year-old olive grove
Situated on Dugi Otok island within northern Dalmatia’s Zadar archipelago, Villa Nai 3.3 is Croatia’s first hotel to be awarded three Michelin Keys. The retreat sits on a quiet estate featuring a century-old olive mill that still produces olive oil today. It is a place of profound peace, framed by Aleppo pine and oak trees.
The design of Villa Nai 3.3 fits seamlessly into the environment. Just five rooms and three suites make up this exclusive retreat, rising from a hillside among a 500-year-old olive grove. Resembling the main deck of a boat, the patios were designed as an extended arm of the interiors. These offer the perfect setting for marvelling at early morning sunrises or stargazing in the evenings. A deep sense of calm unfolds as you gaze out across olive trees in every direction. From an Adriatic Panoramic Suite, you can take in the brilliant-blue hues of the sea on the horizon.
Your days here slip by with languid laps in the outdoor infinity pool, games of tennis at the private court or spa rituals infused with fresh olive paste. Venture further afield with private boat trips to Telašćica Nature Park’s secret coves or the islands of Kornati National Park.
On Dugi Otok, guided cycling excursions invite you to explore dramatic coastal landscapes at your own pace. Pedal to white-sand beaches then fishing villages where traditional boats bob on glassy waters. Around late September and October, take part in the olive harvest before tasting freshly pressed olive oil. Return to Villa Nai 3.3 for dining experiences that capture the essence of the island: seasonal ingredients from the garden, housemade olive oil and just-caught fish from the Adriatic.
