A luxury Southern Africa safari is a sensory awakening. Track big cats through the dense riverine forests of the Kruger National Park, navigate the cool channels of the Okavango Delta as antelope graze along the banks and watch desert-adapted elephants bathe in billows of dust in Damaraland

Your Southern African safari will lead you across South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe. You’ll discover interesting eco-systems and incredible wildlife while learning about community-led conservation.

The unfenced borders of South Africa’s Sabi Sands Private Reserve allow the wildlife to roam freely, and coupled with strict vehicle limits ensure memorable, peaceful sightings. Botswana’s parched salt pans transform in the rainy season, so your safari experience shifts between land and water, with high concentrations of wildlife roaming Linyanti.

In the heart of Namibia wildlife has adapted to survive in the desert environment. The shimmering salt pans of Etosha provide a dramatic stage for wandering elephants. And neighbours Zambia and Zimbabwe are premier destinations for water-based safaris, exceptional guides and incredible wildlife, particularly in Hwange National Park

Get in touch with our team of experts to start planning your Southern Africa safari adventure today and enjoy access to the best guides, exceptional lodges and outstanding wildlife experiences.

When to visit Southern Africa

For the ultimate safari across South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia, aim for the dry season between May and October. During these months, the thinning vegetation and shrinking waterholes mean it’s easier to track and see animals as they gather. September and October offer the most intense game viewing due to the extreme heat and scarcity of water, but the period from June to September provides a perfect balance of clear, sunny days and prime wildlife sightings.
